MOVIE REVIEW: Must Love Dogs Starring Diane Lane and John Cusack, this was very generic romantic comedy that was in no way original. The basic premise is that both Lane's and Cusack's characters are divorcees who are both depressed and whose friends and families are trying to get them dating again. Long story short nothing exciting or funny really happens, except for one brief sequence where the two desperatly search for condoms while in the heat of passion. Other then that, the movie had nothing really to offer. Plot was bland, ending was generic. Diane Lane is very beautiful at the age of 40 but she was given such a bland character to deal with that her performance was quite lifeless. Cusack, kind of goes over the top playing the same guy he has played for the past 20 years, and he is starting to show his age. This show is maybe a renter but not worth laying down general admission price for.
