"Breaking Out"

Last night I got out for the first time since my operation. My leg has been feeling pretty decent the last few days when I has some drugs on board, and Amy had the night off so we decided to decided to go to dinner and a movie. Since I am completely whipped we went and saw the latest romantic comedy "Must Love Dogs" starring Diane Lane and John Cusack (Review To Follow).

The movie was fair, afterwards we drove over to Wal-Mart to get some furniture for Amy's bedroom. Her dresser had broken and she needed some sort of replacements. We went and got her some nice plastic bins that had drawers so she could organize her bedroom. I felt very independent in Wal-Mart being one of the diabled persons not driving around on one of those stupid little go kart things that all the fat people use. Although getting around in Wal-Mart on crutches is not an easy thing to do.

After we got her bins we then drove over to Chili's for dinner. Nicest thing about going out on a Wednesday night, no wait for a table, well there was a wait, but it was basically abotu enough time for me to sit down, get comfortable and then we are ready and I have to get back up again to go to the table.

Dinner was nice however, Amy got a shrimp alfredo pasta, I had some Dry Rub ribs. Both were very good. The ribs especially, since I am a dry rub fan, I am not a big fan of ribs with all the sauces and stuff all over it. I just like good flavorful meat, which is what I got. So good times. I finally got out of the apartment and had a good time. Good times.
